I've had meals and supers since May and the babies have started growing. I remove the beetles and dump the substrate into the designated houses and I've noticed a load of little supers because I have a view of the bottom of their house but not many meals because I have a heatpad fixed with black tape on the bottom of theirs although I see alot of movement, have had one turn into a pupa and see a couple when I check on them. The local pet shop I got the original worm populations from has confirmed they'd buy them but I need to know how to harvest them and I'm gonna wait a few more months to get an even bigger population. How would I harvest them? Picking them out individually would take forever and stress them out.

Best way to harvest them is to scoop them and strain. After straining, you can pick them out of the strainer by hand.

Yep, straining. Get small nut milk bag filters. Something that can let out the substrate but hold on the babies.

what i plan on doing, is moving the adults only. I use hydro salad containers to make nurseries. That way i dont disturb the eggs.

adults are pretty easy to scoop out with a mini fishnet.

A ' Sifter ' with appropiate sized mesh may be used for this purpose.
