Just curious, out of the larger T's how long does it take them to get up to a good size? :?

Lots of food and about six to eight months and you will have a BIG spider...if you are starting from a sling..

I have heard not too long if you feed them as much as they want. But I would sure like to know that myself. :D

I bought a L.parahybana sling about an inch in size Feb. 2004 and it is now about 5 inches...I have posted pics a few weeks back...I would say that is a fast growing T.

I have had 4 L. parahybanas since 3rd instar, 14 mos. ago.
I fed every day as slings, every other day as juves, mostly crix, but binge on wax-worms once a month or so. :}
The largest just passed 4".

My Lasiodora parahybana is humongous and she is two years old. She is between 7 or 8 inches and will grow some more. she only eats vertebrates now because she wont touch crickets but the moment a mouse is near her she is all over it. She has even eaten an injured swallow and an anole. I posted a picture when it was a spiderling a few years back when it ate an anole.

I am nothing short of impressed. That is awesome. Especially the fact that the Gecko is smiling.

Hooray!!!!!!!

My little girl moulted last night starting at 10pm and now she's her pretty beautiful colors again. :) And she'll start eating like the machine she is in a week once she's hardened up. I can't wait. :D
