Hi
You should not mist(spray) as B.hamorii are kept on dry substrate. While yours is that young you can add water using dropper (syringe)to one corner at a time moistening the bottom layers of substrate and let it dry while add water to different corner.Give it option to have dry area and moist area.If you have space for water dish add one (bottle cap, tattoo ink pot)you can overflow that now and then and have no worries about your T being dehydrated .

Hi
I personally dont like misting as it usually moists only the top layer of substrate that evaporate very quick as a mean of adding moisture. Also tarantula are very sensitive to vibration and while you are spraying the spray bottle shoots air with the water and tarantulas don't like it and freaks them out.Its a personal choice really. If you insist on misting shoot the water towards the side of the enclosure where it meets the substrate so water runs down and moist the lower layers of the substrate.Dont try to keep top of the substrate moist all the time as it may create stuffy conditions in the enclosure. If your spider wants more moisture will make a burrow to that moist lower layer.

Never, spraying is pretty much pointless and just annoys the tarantula, just pipette a few drops of water into the substrate and repeat when it dries out.

I WILL spray a tiny clump of sphagnum moss and put it in for drinking but I never mist inside the enclosure.

I feed my slings about twice a week and I feed my adults about once a week or once every other week.

Whenever I feed my tarantulas, I top off water dishes and I'll either over flow the dishes or mist any moss that is in the tank.
