the LPS wants to charge circa 40 buks.

they are very helpful and amazingly on the ball there (i hadta fill out a bunch of paperwork, and got a 1 week followup call when i bought my a. avic there)
but,
if this sounds like highway robbery to you guys, maybe i'll just mail order.

OBT slings are in the market for about $5!

I highly highly suggest you order from a reputable dealer.

It seems a little much, but when you add in the shipping costs to the cost of a sling, then you are almost in the $40 ballpark. It wouldn't be that much but not that far off.

You should be able to find it much cheaper with an online dealer! then you can get more slings(or adults!) to make the shipping worthwhile! I have seen them from 6-10 bucks for sure before...not sure about england but still!

Though, I guess if you use Express shipping it might come to around that... but I have never paid even half that for OBTs that I have ordered offline (including shipping)

The most I paid for, was Aidan.. I got him from an LPS for $27 (or somewhere around there).. I just fell in love with the lil bugger and didn't care about the price tag haha
