How many generations before an worm can be a feeder

I got some earthworms and wringlers and Alabama jumpers a while ago and put them in my compost bin that is all organic. I only use old animal substrate and sticks from my garden. I was wondering how long or how many generations before I can use as feeders for animals. I have used some for my box turtle that lives outside. I was going to sell some but I wanted to make sure it was safe. I have it going for about a year and have a couple thousand worms.
