no, baby jumpers need to eat multiple fruit flies a day, i usually leave 7-8 for the youngest and 5-6 for the older ones. i only adopt out slings when they are the appropriate age to do so, so they usually can start eating bigger food than fruit flies altogether. how old is your sling?

I'd say it's about i5 to i6. I'd just make sure that there's prey available at all times. If I'm not mistaken, jumpers will actually show self restraint and not eat to the point where they'll cause themselves and harm or become obese. I've been raising slings and feed them this way and haven't had any issues.

I've noticed that too with my slings. If they start to look extra plump and they're getting older, or close to the juvie point, I may even not feed for a day to give them a break.
But I have been feeding at least more than five fruit flies a day to my jumpers. They hatched in May and I just rehoused one of the slings into a 2x4 🥰
