no problem giving it all the time it wants !As long as they want
I more so wanted to know other people experiences with this happening.
Being a long time member, and being knowledgeable is not relevant. You have been a member on here for over a decade now. This is a 1st year keeping question that has been asked a billion times.
Yeah and if I had not allowed my g porteri to burrow I might have it still. Iām more concerned about keeping it hydrated down there . Which I did for the rose hair also but I guess sometimes you can do everything correctly and still have a bad molt. Think of this question more so as a survey, which you failed to answer. You have been a member on here for over a decade now. This is a 1st year keeping question that has been asked a billion times.
yeah more is Iām trying to learn more about them and there behavior . Iāve had obligatory burrowers before , but that was a while ago and donāt recal them sealing the burrow often. And Iāve not had an lp do this past 4ā. Just felt I could had did better when my rose hair burrowed and had a bad stuck molt rip , I did make sure it had water .Being a long time member, and being knowledgeable is not relevant.
Itās all about how observant you are, thatās all.
Learning something new is not surprising thing, and itās a good thing.
Yeah my bad I added this to the first post because I realized I asked a question and it has no answer ..You spend this much time on this board for this many years and haven't seen the same question asked five hundred times? You're getting the same answers as everyone else who asks: nobody knows!
I just had an adult Chilobrachys female close herself off for two months, and didn't even molt. They do what they want.
Iāve never kept track - no needno problem giving it all the time it wants !
yeah I more so wanted to know other people experiences with this happening. I already know not to dig it out or anything silly like that ..![]()
Yeah go figure like you said āthey do whatever they wantā .Iāve never kept track - no need
yes the burrow collapsed I think I need a different substrate mixture to hold a burrow better it shouldnāt had collapsed so easily. Right now itās 50/50 coco fiber / top soil. I re dug the entrance out but the t seems to have no interest in going back in atm. Got one pic prior to the collapse there wasnāt enough deep sub ontop it got super dried out .My adult spider's can be hid for months at a time. I've got a c.fumosas that's been buried going over a month and I fully expect her to remain there maybe another month and a half.
She always does when going to molt and she's not the only adult spider I have that will go in a long really long molting.
I keep the water dish full and wait.
