My little P. audax sling molted again early this morning. I've been waiting for it to molt for a week, and of course it waits until the day before I'm supposed to leave town for 10 days. Do you think it would be too soon to offer a meal tomorrow morning, roughly 24 hours after molting? It's still pretty little, like just a hair under 1/4" after this molt. I don't want to leave it without food for 10 days right after a molt, but I also don't want to feed it too soon. Any advice would be great!

Before this last molt (those are Hydei fruit flies for scale):

24 hours is usually enough.

2-3 days is usually how long they take to come out and feel ready to eat anyway. i would say if a spider doesnt eat for a full week after a molt, to be worried. before then, anything goes. but make sure theyre drinking regardless and keep offering food if more than 2 days have passed after the molt.

^this only goes for slings, by the way, adults after their final molt can take a lot longer, and its due to how much longer it takes for their larger exos to harden

Yes if an adult or close comes out of the nest same day as the molt, wait a few days before feeding.
