what are you taking the egg sac out for?

to keep and rear some babies?

i'd do it sooner, rather than later. being in a nice warm house might let those eggs hatch in a very short amount of time... and those babies will disperse out of the smallest air holes =P

some spiders overwinter as eggs, then hatch in the spring

odds are if it is a local spider it would be ok outside

you probably won't have to go to that exotic of measures to hatch them. most local true spider egg sacs i have had hatched on their own with little intervention from me.

the only concern i would have is if you live in the frozen north and use central heating it might make the humidity much too low for them. never really sure about that, though

A. aurantia "hatch" in the eggsac in the fall, but the first instars overwinter inside the sac until spring. Not sure if they'll emerge earlier without the cooling period, but they might.

There will be hundreds of them!
