How far of a fall do yall think a grown T can fall and not injure its self??
There is no standard, surviving a fall is based on many factors. The species primarily, its mass, its age, the object/s it lands one.

Why do you ask, and what species do you have in mind?

Arboreals tend to be more resistant to a fall than terrestrials. Fat terrestrials don't have to fall very far to suffer injuries.

Dude quit posting random questions. Are you just trying to hike up your postings to gain access to the classifieds or something? Hum 15 posts required for classifieds and you have 15 posts exactly. Really annoying, especially when you don't even reply back.

Really wondering if y'all have had any issues with this?? Have y'all had one get injured from this. Just curious. I would never drop one on purpose. I mean really?

post in T chat. a large terrestrial can be injured from a few inches, a young arboreal could probably go a meter and a half. i have a vagans that lost a couple legs from falling from its lid.

When my metallicas have made mad dashed up my arm, they have jumped from almost 1.5 meters onto the ground and continued their frantic dash without any injury.

Without getting injured that's amazing. My heart would be pounding seeing my T go into a freefall

My guess is Arboreal's attempt in slowing themselves down during free-fall is to spread there limbs as far as possible to create as much air resistance and spread there weight more evenly upon impact.

Right? I saw the forum with a zillion new threads from this guy and started laughing like a hyena! Troll or adderall, do you think?
Hi Thistles! :). I keep seeing "troll" being used. What does that mean? (Sorry if that was a dumb question, lol).

I envy you for that because you live in a world better than mine, Lady. Pssht! Remain in ignorance, save yourself for God's sake! Trolls? Only a myth from Scandinavia :)

That'is exactly what Avics do, also keeping your legs spread out maximizes the probability of grabbing hold onto something and stopping your fall sooner rather than later ;)

It is not so much that people deliberately drop a T which causes a fall. A fall can occur when a T moves faster than expected during handling for instance. Or when the space between the top of the enclosure and the substrate is too large, and the terrestrial decides to try out its arboreal side.

At least, I hope that there aren't people deliberately throwing T's ...

Hey there! It's pretty much what Tox says. Someone who deliberately tries to stir up trouble or controversy or upset people for fun. Some are subtle, like my step brother who pretends to disagree with my mom politically just to get her worked up, and some are obvious, like people who bully or spoil things.
