How does this sound for roach food?

So I'm trying a new mixture with my lobster colony. I went to the feed store and bought some soybean meal, which is around 46% protein. I already have wheat bran for supers and mealies so I decided to do a 50-50 mix of those two products, which averages out to be around 30% protein. They seem to love it, but there hasn't been enough time to see any effects. Do you guys think that would be an adequate diet for those roaches?

This has been my philosophy on roach diet: if they eat, then it is ok. As far as feeding go I really don't have much experience. My hissers won't breed as if they know what I plan on doing with their young'n lol. But the diet seems fine. What are you feeding?

I know it's not bad for them, I was just curious if it would be an adequate staple food. I'm just trying it out with my lobsters right now, but if it works okay then I will use it on everything. I got 100 lbs of this stuff for 24 bucks so I'm hoping it works out well.

I'm not trying to tell you it's bad for them lol. Roaches are not picky eaters and will eat anything for a staple diet. I feed my hissers goldfish food.

And good luck with the mix! Hope it works well!
