•Do they find other turret-like nests?
•Do the females find the males or do the males find them?
• do they get out only to find mates who are out of the nests?
• If they find other turret like nests to mate, how do the spiders recognize each other?

If you know the answers to my question, please answer them and comment the answers!

Exact quote from the site:

From November to February, mature males leave their burrows to wander in search of a mate. They probably locate a receptive female by her scent, but little is known of their mating behavior. In summer, the female lays her eggs and covers them in a silken sac, which she positions halfway down her burrow. It is not known when the eggs hatch. The spiderlings remain inside the burrow with their mother until the following summer, when they emerge and disperse to build their own burrows.

All I did was, type ‘How do turret and trapdoor spiders reproduce?’ on Google search, which took about 6 seconds to do so.

It all starts when a male spider has a few too many drinks with the boys. During his night out, he comes back to his burrow and passes out at the front door. A female spider comes by and finds him and takes it upon herself to see after him until the morning. Making sure no birds eat him. From there they become really good friends and eventually start dating. After a couple years they agree it’s time to get married. This will really help with splitting expenses and such. Then one day when the mommy and daddy spider really like each other, they will come to a non contractual agreement to have a ton of babies. As time progresses, the male spider develops a drinking problem which eventually leads to him getting kicked out of the house. From there the mom spider gets a restraining order, and the dad spider can’t go within a hundred centimetres of the burrow. That’s essentially the steps of it, + or - a few. Hope that helps.

apparently I read on an article that they are blind. But thanks for telling me that they recognize each other by scent.
