How do I tell if my baby scorpion needs to eat?

He looks chubby already so I dont know if I should give him a fruit fly in case his stomach ruptures or something like that, I havent fed him since I got him 6 days ago any tips?

You can not overfeed a scorpion or rupture their stomaches. The scorpion will simply stop eating and enter its premolt.

Signs of premolt:

Plumpness
Refusal to eat
Duller coloration
Lethargy (if disturbed usually accompanied with wild, aggressive tail batting)
Remains hidden for weeks or months in order to safely molt undisturbed (it will re-emerge again ONCE its exoskeleton has completely sclerotized and it is ready to feed again)

Im assuming he's not molting cause he did grab a fruit fly to eat the other day but I took it away cause I was worried but I could be wrong this is my first scorpion so a lot of info is new to me other than what I researched. Thank you so much
