How Big Do These Pedes Get?

[Captain Centipede]

I have 2 gorgeous pedes, S.Hainanum and a jewel, S.Mint Legs. I’ve heard that Hainanum gets to about 8”. My Mint Legs is 5.5” excluding the terminal legs and antenna, but do you guys know how big Mint Legs get? Answers would be much appreciated.

They probably get around the same size as hainanum. You may get the odd specimen which is a bit smaller or larger though.

Errrr, mint lets stay small from what I understand. You see people say 8” for mint legs all the time but I’ve never seen it, and from what I have heard, they stay below 6” BL.

Very impressive size. Genetics do play a role though.

Will do. I’ve also seen virtually zero bite reports on Mint Legs, so I’m going to take one for the team on Halloween.

Nice!! That is definitely bigger than 6” BL, but I would still love to see it next to a ruler of some sort.
