house gecko question

I've got a young house gecko in a 5 gallon tank, how long do I need to keep the heat lamp on during daylight hours?

what kind of bulb is it? if it's one of those night time ones(red or blue/purple/whatever), you can probably keep it on all day. if not, keep it on 12 hours a day.

It's an ESU All Living Things 60 watt daylight bulb.

The basking side should be around 75 degrees F to 89 degrees. and the time should be around 10 - 12 hrs each light.

I changed it to a blue nighttime bulb plus my gecko hides in a piece of gnarled wood that I have in the tank. Do I need to get a reflector for my nighttime bulb?
