wouldn't it suck if the t decided to make that lid area his home and web himself to it? have you tried this with a t in it yet?

:D Hey, that looks just like the giant cheese ball container I'm still trying to empty out. I'm not sure what kind of T to use it for yet.
Nice idea with the extra access hole. I'll keep that in mind when I get mine emptied, there are a lot of cheese balls in there:8o

If the T webs up the isde access then he/she can just use the top door for feeding/cleaning

Da_illest thats why a seconday access was made, even another smaller 3rd access could be added to the top or side for just that reason. Plus my 12 inch tongs work better with a side entrance. Depth can be adjusted, vent holes don't interfer with viewing, 3rd and 4th doorways added. I think it is a great "cheap" housing. Improvements would be screw top, if wanted spoon/shaker opening tops, and/or square shape. I like it and beats spending $20USD+ on a store bought enclosure.

Brilliant idea and good work - the only think that bother me is the all - purpose silicon sealant.
It's toxic for arachnids even when doesn't smell.
Why not to use the aquarist silicon - it's much safer.
