Both can be highly "tempermental" and combative. But Both can also have flighty and calm individuals too.Which of the above scorpions is the most defensive/aggressive or has the most temperament?
I think the OP is asking about Indian Red as opposed to Death Stalker with the view of purchasing the " hotter ".Both can be highly "tempermental" and combative. But Both can also have flighty and calm individuals too.
Hottentotta can be bad tempered but also most aren't nearly as toxic drop-for-drop as Leiurus nor responsible for as many confirmed deaths if any at all (primarily pediatric age groups) save for Hottentotta tamulus and Hottentotta gentili. I know of one individual that has been stung multiple times by Hottentotta jayakari and suffered no serious effects ("bee stings"). But never be careless or disrespectful with any genus (including Hottentotta) that contains highly venomous species responsible for life threatening envenomations and fatalities. I was stung by a H. franzwerneri and it was no "bee sting" my thumb felt like it was smashed by a hammer and throbbed and hurt for a whole eight hours. My whole thumb even experienced ice cold chills alternately. But that was the worst of it for me (185lbs).But maybe good to compare these 2...
But I have my eye on a Hottentotta sousai or a Hottentotta salei
