Hottentotta Hottentotta female??

Picked up a Hottentotta Hottentotta. 90% sure it's a female but figured I'd ask around.

Female, pectins and pectin teeth don't look long enough to be a male.

I believe there are no males of this species in the hobby. There are some populations in the wild that have males though.

Ya from what I've know about them since they a parthenogenic I'd assume I'd be a female. It was a random pickup on my vacation and figured I'd poke around for some second eyes. Good to know about the pectin length though. I don't even knownif I've ever seen a male haha.

It would indeed be very interesting to have a male though. Be nice to introduce that into the pool of the hobby.
