Hello all! I hope someone here knows this species and maybe the sex but don’t mention it if this is the wrong forum for that.

Such a cool find here as most of the mantises I see in AZ are brown but this guy or girl is a gorgeous green! And would you believe I found it in the back room of the grocery store I work at!

Looks similar to a male Iris oratoria.

Looks like your regular old Chinese Mantis, but I am not a mantis expert. It just looks like the ones we have here in my state.

100% not a T. sinensis
I got a glimpse of his wings and He definitely looks like the first one you mentioned. Are they significant in any way? He's been very good with taking meals from my tweezers and I love him. Made me buy a baby giant asian mantis my local shop had. What do you think about the spiny flower mantis?

Not really different. He is a adult male so he won’t go very long. Spinies are easy, they just need a ton of cross ventilation and to be listed every day. Giant asians are easier:
