I left for work this morning, leaving behind an upright molting Rosea. I didnt even know he/she was in premolt since I thought she was just doing the rosea's weird fasting period.

But when I saw her this morning, half out of her old skin, and upright, man oh man. Im hoping I go home today to see that he/she is out of her skin completely.

Heres to crossing my fingers!

Give her plenty of time but if ultimately she can't get out of it you can gently remove it with tweezers. I've done so with success, but don't rush to do so. Sometimes they just take forever.

I think I have to bite the bullet on this one guys. Not a single millimeter of progress. Not only that, but I took a look of its fangs, and theyre already dark red in colour. The old skin is also already stiff and brittle. The first knee of her legs isnt even out from the old shell.

I cant believe I missed this. :(

How is your T doing or is it not making it out of the molt?

Not too good. Still stuck in the exact same position without any progress.

Try raising the humidity a lot, and perhaps gently putting it on her back (I've read of some people taking a shower with the T enclosure in the same bathroom to get a really good humidity going!). I mean you should never disturb a molting T, but since it has already started molting and it's been almost 8 or 9 hours with NO progress, it might be do or die at this point.

If, after then, there is still no progress for about an hour, try gently dabbing a water + soap mixture (a few drops in ~2 cups or so) on the legs and any part that appears to be "stuck" (while avoiding the booklungs!) and see if it is able to make any progress. If after an hour, it's still hasn't made any progress, you might have to do some microsurgery:(

But whatever the case, don't give up! Hope she pulls through!

absolutely no progress whatsoever. shes been in the exact same position. i tried increasing the humidity too by cover the enclosure with plastic wrap, and spraying water.

and like i said, her fangs are already dark red. I imagine its way past the 24 hour mark since she attempted to molt. :|
