There always something better
Theres a product that my company offers that is called Bug Barrier, and it does not melt, run, harden or stop working.
Ask around for anyone who has ever used a product marketed by Double Ds called Bug Barrier and you will hear the same thing, "IT works".

It works pretty well it's just messy. My new tarantula was investigating the tank and got some on her legs and head which didn't seem like it would be very good for her. I was just looking for other options.
