I have an abundance of bamboo growing in my garden and I was wondering if the pieces I throw away to neaten the garden up can be used in my Tarantulas enclosures instead. I don’t treat it with any chemicals or such it just naturally grows here. Plus it looks pretty gorgeous so it would definitely look good in my arboreal setups. I don’t know anything about bamboo in T enclosures, but I know my bamboo definitely isn’t treated with fertilisers/pesticides.

Sure, bamboo should be fine for your arboreals. The only concern you might have is mold if the enclosure is very moist - particularly if the bamboo is in direct contact with wet substrate - but that is not an issue that is exclusive to bamboo.

Also, if the spiders are small enough, they might hide inside the hollow bamboo stalks - not necessarily a bad thing, but could make them hard to find and lead to a few "My spider is missing! Did it get out?!?" panic attacks when the spider seems to have vanished from the enclosure.
