Holy Moley Mealies!

All of my bugs are in my basement, and I accidentally left the top off of my meal worm tub; which was sitting on the floor. I came back a few hours later and there was a mole in the tub!

I touched it and it squeaked and ran around. It was really cute.

Crazy that it just showed up like that! I guess it smelled the fresh oatmeal I had added, but I don't even know how it was able to climb in there.

I let it go outside, and immediately was kicking myself for not taking a photo! :wall:

The main diet of moles is worms and grubs so the little guy found a feast! I like moles. I've rescued them from my cats a few times. They make the strangest noises.

Awe man, yeah, would've liked a pic. I found one going across the road in the NW US, it had the weird star shaped nose, big front feet. I caught it in a cup and watched it a while. It was pretty big, bigger than a adult mouse and real strong.
