Nothing to bring you out of the dumps like a successful molt. :D

I had to work really early this moring and when I got home a few minutes ago I checked everyone on the shelf and my little P. chordatus was just finishing! Looks like it's gained some size, can't wait to see it all stretched out. :D No wonder the little guy didn't want to eat for me! {D

Pics to come, I have to charge my camera. OwO

Thanks. Pics are coming up in just a sec. And Teal, if s/he'd molted in transit he/she would have been just fine with your packing. :D

btw, I just rehoused my P. regalis sling (Whom I think is female ;) ), ya THAT was fun. Not. it was however quite exhilerating when it started to do laps around my tub and then shot up the wall. Luckily When it got up on the wall was when I was finally able to cup it and get it into the new enclosure. I was shaking for a few minutes after. {D {D

I can't tell from that far away if it's a male or female.. after s/he hardens up a bit, see if you can get a pic of the underside n I'll let you know :D

I didn't think it was going to be possible, my camera sucks, and I didn't want to get to close and startle it.. Oh well, I'll try when s/he hardens up.

Very nice pics :)
thanks. :)

Oh, I must be rude then.. I get all up in their faces with a camera during and after a molt haha And during feedings.. but Rise has decided that if I get in her face with a camera, she'll drop her prey until I leave LOL

Oh, and thanks for the compliment on my packing :D

Congrats!!!! Isn't it amazing how one minute this hobby can bring you great heartache, then one of your other T's does something cool......just as if they were trying to cheer you up. :p

BTW, your new friend looks male. However, let him harden up and eat something, then try again with another pic......may not change anything, but it will at least give a more accurate view of the spacing between the booklungs.

How are you doing your transfers?? Some people (like my idiot self  ) do their transfers on their bed with little to no regard for any safety measures, and have no trouble at all. Other people will take EVERY precaution imaginable, and just LOATHE every second of the operation.

LOL, maybe I'm just overly cautious. Although I do tend to get in my B. vagans face alot, I think this may be a contributing factor in her tendency to have mood swings. (jk, though really, she's freaking bipolar)

It is pretty amazing. :)

Ya, I thought so to from some angles, I thought female, but pretty much I didn't have a clue {D We'll see when s/he hardens up. Even though I don't know gender I did figure out a name. I'm going with "Cola"

I did the transfer in my tub, I don't do them all that way just the ones I know/think are going to give me problems. She'd given my an awful time the first time I transfered her and that was in my room, so this time i took extra precautions.
