1-male
2-female
3-female?
4-male

I'm not sure if they're adult size just yet (maybe a little growing left to do, but not much), but they look mature.

the males are obviously sexually mature :)

where are those spiders from, originally, do you know?
I just got some wild caught Olios Gigantes that look very similar to that... maybe a little smaller at mature size though

I don't think it was Olios Giganteus that was life-treathning,
but some Brazilian Olios specie orso,...

have to look up the article again,...

anyway Olios are also nice looking crabspiders
are they common ?

heh! my brother caught two and unfortunately had to kill two while he was on his honey-moon in a Bed & Breakfast cabin thing. from that i would say they are moderately common in that part of CA

one of mine laid an eggsac last week, but ate it soon thereafter. pretty much my fault too :( i was keeping her in a regular jar with some holes poked in it and she made her egg laying web-sac right in the neck of the jar, with the lid as the ceiling. i opened it once, when i first saw the egg sac, then opened it again to feed mom a little roach. when i looked at the jar w/o openeing it i couldn't see egg sac, and when i opened the jar to check all i could find was disappointment and an ex-mom :(

oh, and i think the medically significant olios strikes a chord in my brain too, now that i think about it

six-eyed sicarididae (spx2!) crab spiders have some MS species, i reckon

Hi Steven,

The females are at adult size now,ive seen these in australia and are great to just watch, they have to be one of the fastest moving spiders.I,ve tried looking for these on pricelist but not seen them for quite a while now.
