Hi all, I caught today what I believe to be a 2-1/2" to 3" Hogna lenta, (I tried to post some pics but the file size was to large and I have no programme to resize them :( ) anyways I was using the search engine looking for threads on sexing these spiders but could not find any, any information would be much appreciated also any personal experience on the care of this beautiful spider

regards
Chris.

Hi!
Try www.imageshack.us an the option that allows to resize the image - it works. ;-) How big is it? If it's adult, take a look at the pedipalps, the male should have them bulbous. Good luck. :)

Your MS Paint should do the quick job for ya. Just go "edit", "select all" and move the picture towards the top left corner to place the subject of focus then click outside the selection and bring the right and bottom borders in by dragging on the blue dot on the edges........got it? ...good....

or ctrl^w to stretch... just stretch to like 33% and 33% and it will make the pic much smaller and keep the proportion and what not. and you can do it all with keyboard shortcuts :D
