Hissing cockroaches as pets

How many Madagascar giant hissing cockroaches could live comfortably in a 2.5 gallon tank? I'll be getting a bigger tank later this week, but I'm just curious...
also, would breeding be a good idea? I could feed smaller ones to my T's and geckos...
Right now I have two females, sweet little buggers. They live in the 2.5 gallon together. I'll be getting two more roaches with the bigger tank I get. Anyhoo, here's Miriam and Togo!

well i have about 20 to 30 adults and about a 100 babies in a 30 gallom tal and there is plenty of more room to go

Fabulous! I can't get a 30 gal for the simple reason that I'm just now starting to plan and finance for a new pet...I don't even want to say what it is, I get my hopes up easily...but fingers crossed!
Anyhoo, I'll probably get something a few times bigger than what I have, and maybe 15-20 roaches, I dunno. Meh, we'll see!

Start asking people if they have any tanks that they don't use and want to get rid of. You'll be surprised at what you'll get. We got an 100 gal fish tank that we keep our beardies in plus several 10 and 20 gal tanks waiting for pet to fill them.

You can also keep your roaches in a rubbermaid container, a bigger container for less $$

I had 1 roach for about 9 years there good pets sadly i for got to give my roach water

I'd keep them in a rubbermaid container. You can get some clear-ish ones. To see them, you just need a quick pop of the lid.

Anyways, Maybe twenty will live comfortably in a 2.5 gallon container. That's pushing it, especially since they constantly breed.

yeah i heard they are good breeders, so they can be feeders. but I have no experince to say anything. I want to get some hissing cockroaches they look so cool.
