I raise a few hissers for my bigger T's. I feed them a mix of parrot food, hamster food, and rabbit food mixed together I buy real cheap at a local pet store. I add a few raw veggies like carrots and green beans etc. They seem to be doing very well on this diet. However, they barely touch the veggies, just nibbling a little here and there. They like a chunk of ripe banana and munch that quite well. But recently I tried giving them some fresh dandalion flowers and they love them. There are about 20 adults and they are eating 4-5 flowers a night. I live ihn the country and use no chemicals of any kind on my lawn. Does anyone else have something the hissers especially like?

Oranges. Mine loved oranges and bananas. Made them stink though.
Fishfood is something else they ate with gusto.

Ive actually stopped giving mine veggies. Now I just stick to over ripe fruits.
They tear that up.

Mine love Mangoes and Avacados, but they are probably spoiled.

I'm not trying to take over this thread, but cheap fish food has been mentioned a couple times. Where is some of the best sources for cheap fish food? Both flake and pellet. What are some of the big wholesale companies that sell fish food, so maybe I could find a dealer/salesperson in my area?
