how fast do these guys generally grow? how long till they reach adult size?

To me it was 6months to them to reach their adult form. Yeah, they breed very fast, and about 60 nymphs per ootheca.

I think gestation period is about 2 months, and the female will become gravid again soon after giving birth.

Good luck with the babies, it's fun to watch them grow up. I bought a dozen hissers back in december, and now I have hundreds, many of them mature adults.
