My Halloween hisser appears to be dying of old age. Was very sluggish the day before and now has no energy to move. He stopped responding to touch last night and is limp when i pick him up. I presume he is now dead, but I know it can sometimes take days for roaches to die. I would like to bury him, so can anyone tell me when it should be safe to bury him without fear of him still having some life left? Thanks in advance.

If you are certain that he is dying (seems probable to me) then you can swiftly euthanise the Hisser in a freezer. Would seem more humane to me than awaiting his death.

Thank you. I will keep that in mind when the next one passes. My Halloween was most definitely dead by the time I posted this. His death was fairly quick.
