My female P audax pounced on a cricket just now, but it escaped missing 1 leg, and she proceeded to ignore it and just feed on the leg LOL. This happen to anyone else?

Sometimes, when my fruit fly culture gets full, I go into the back stairwell of my apartment (built in the 1800's, unfinished stone walls) and toss a few to the hallway spiders before I dump them outside. A few months ago, I noticed some freshly hatched slings of a small cobweb spider (she was still hanging around) so I released some flies onto the windowsill. The spiders were so much smaller than the fruit flies that one hopped onto the fly's back and rode it around while its siblings tried to attack. It was hilarious and I was super impressed with the rodeo.

A couple of my Amblypygi get too excited and miss their strikes on crickets, leading to them to have a mouth full of soil!

They then have to spend like 10 minutes grooming themselves
