Hickory nuts

Has anyone put hickory nuts shells in their isopods enclosures? What about pinecones or magnolia seed pods?

Pine cones aren't recommended but hickory shells and magnolia seed pods would be great.

It isn't recommended to give isopods anything from pine trees. The hickory nuts sound fine, as far as I can tell they should enjoy that. My pods love magnolia pods. They make nice moist hides for them to hang out under, inside, and on top of.
