I believe your neighbors to the north keep this species and would be the best option on care info. Run a search for 'aussie invert forum' and you should find what you're looking for;)

I order and keep a lot of strange species, so my best suggestion to you is do exactly what I do, mimic natural native conditions. You can find all the info you need using specific key phases on Google, like The name of the location where the specimen was found followed by "yearly weather patterns" for knowledge on temp and humidity or "soil composite" for ideal substrate type so it would be like, "Northern New Zealand yearly weather patterns". Also look at the location it was found, in rocks and stony conditions or under a rock/log in soft soil/sand. It takes some time but has been vary successful for me.

Yeah mate, I used to live in Auckland (studying the Carabidae). Have a couple of dissertations if anyone is interested. But anyway, I know a couple of mates in Auckland (if that's where you live), who would have some Cormocephalus Rubriceps.

Treat C. Rubriceps as you would treat any other large scolopendrid. While I don't own any myself, I have had experience with several of its smaller relatives in Australia, such as C. Westwoodi and C. Aurantiipes. Their care requirements are the same as that of other centipedes, the only difference being the food restriction owing to size.
