Hey all, don't know if anyone remembers me, but I was posting here a while ago asking questions, had plans on getting a T, never did. Going to a rep show tomorrow though, hopefully I'll be coming home with one........or two......or three....:D

The show is in Beaver County, about 10 miles NW of Pittsburgh, near the Beaver Valler Mall.

I'm hoping to pick up at least two or three from this bunch..
A. geniculata
L. parahybana
B. smithi
T. blondi
G. pulchra
G. rosea

I really REALLY want
H. lividum
H. albostriatum
or
H. minax

but I know I should gain some experience with T's first....

If they are going to be your first group of T's, I'd def. not get the T. blondi. It's not really a beginner T...And I dunno about the L. parahybana.

I agree with the T.Blondi not being a beginner species. I would also wait on till you get some experience. Good starter T's are like the A.Versicolor,A.Avalcularia,B.Smithi,E.campestratus,G.aureostriata
The last 2 I mentioned are extremely doctile and good for beginners.

I agree about not getting a blondi, but a parahybana is a good species to start with, they eat good and are hardy. I have both lividum and albostriatum are not that difficult, you don't see them that often. Actually the albostriatum is slightly more visible than the lividum. Good luck with whatever you purchase.

Welp...their selection left a LOT to be desired. Only 2 dealers had T's, and one of those only had two. The one that only had 2, had a sling labeled as a dwarf rosehair, and this one, labeled only as a Stripeknee...about 2 1/2 to 3 inches, haven't measured it yet.

This is the one I brought home....
maybe A. Seemanni???? The pics I've found of those look exactly like this one so far....

The other dealer had a TON of OBTs, a bunch of rosehairs, and a very nice B. Pallidum which he wanted $60 for. Unfortunately halfway through the show, my fiances wallet was stolen. She left it in the resteraunt and realised it and went back for it and it was gone. When we got home there was a message on the answering machine from someone who found it in the parking lot, but all the money was gone. So I now have one T so far....
