Basically I’m really not sure if this scorp is even old enough to be gravid but I really can’t tell. She’s a lot fatter then she was 3 months ago and has been this fat for at least a month now. What is everyone’s opinions? Pregnant? Molt? Does this scorp even look old enough to be gravid to you? Just looking for any opinions you might have 671D6701-D803-4264-B486-FE02103B3D69.jpeg

now i am not actually qualified to judge this, but i think you should add what you have fed it in that time? if you just kept on feeding despite it's girth i would assume its just fat.

Nuts. Going by the title of this thread I thought the OP was referring to the Sonora around drug runners alley.

Took her off feed about 3 weeks ago but was only getting 1 cricket every 10th day which definitely should not plump her up that much. She’s just like 2x plumper then any of my others currently and they are all fed on the same schedule

It is not fully mature.
Yeah she doesn’t look it to me I’m just not sure how old these guys are exactly. I wouldn’t have thought she was old enough to be gravid yet. Would it be acceptable to assume she is still to young to be gravid?

Scorpions can only get gravid when they are mature, after that they don't keep molting like tarantulas do.
So no, it's not gravid. Probably going into premolt.

Certainly not gravid, or mature as mentioned previously . Shame, because hadrurus are notoriously difficult to get to molt in captivity

Dependant on species, scorpions can be gravid for up to a year. It is common to get a new female who is gravid and frequently scorpion keepers will find a mother scorpion with scorplings on her back a few months later.

Looking at the picture, she could well be gravid. She could also be getting over fed and going forward you need to reduce the frequency of feeds.

How often do you feed her and what do you feed her? Bear in mind that mealworms and Morios are high in fat and should only be given every other week as a treat. Many owners seem to give their scorpions a primary diet of meal/morio worms and this can lead to the scorpion becoming overweight.

It is not a mature scorpion and the feeding is fine they usually balloon up prior to a molt.
