here are a couple of pics of my first ball python. Im still a lil scared of holding her (Pearl). because its my first snake. so she gets a lil jumpy and so do I.

in the last post can you see some of my T's at the top of my desk, also a T collector. 28 and counting.

MrT, Price wasn't bad, no it hasn't bitten me YET, and i hope not soon.

I know BigSam. Everyday after school i get home and hold her about 15 minutes and i put her back.

Question: they fed her last wednesday, you think she can hold off till saturday?

Sure it can.
But you should get it on a schedule that works for both of you.

I feed my big snakes on Sat. and the little ones on Weds.
Fresh water every two days.
Clean out the crap as it happens.
Change the substrate every two weeks.
Mist every other day with warm water.
Keep room humidity @ 50%. I can't get it to go any higher.

IMO, the humidity is important for clean shedding.
One of my balls shed in small pieces once. I had to soak it with mist for a full day, off and on, to get it off.

a humid hide, rubbermaid or even a 3lb butter tub with damp moss half filling it will help during shedding periods.
