Got a large Florida huntsman, have it in plastic critter cage with egg crate hide, no substrate, this okay? Also, do widows drop unfertilized eggs? Final question: found the huntsman in the bathroom, are my crickets attracting spiders?

Did some searching, looks like I'm gonna want an arboreal setup for the Florida huntsman, decent arboreal setups are pricey though.

You can make an enclosure out of just about anything. Stop by your local grocery store and you can find all kinds of stuff to make a cage out of. Just make sure its plastic so you can punch holes in it. I've used mayonnaise jars, peanut jars, and assorted tupper wares.

Yes, but its rare. Old, non-mated hesperus, mactans and geos have done this for me. ...usually dud sacs are also irregular/misshaped or even unfinished, but not always. Other possible reasons.. extreme environmental changes and cross breeding.
Yours is going to hatch ..99.8% ;)

good point about the mishapen sacs. the eggs will sometimes be a little funny color too.
