Hi,
I received an E-Mail from Dr. Peter Jaeger (Senckenberg Museum, Frankfurt, Germany) today, announcing two things that I want to share with all persons that are interested in the work of Dr. Jaeger and especially Heteropoda maxima:
1. Dr. Jaeger has startet to publish an “Arachno Blog” that he will every now and then update with news regarding the subject or with arachnological anectodes. The blog can be found via:
www.senckenberg.de/arachno-blog
By now, the blog is unfortunately only available in german language. I have already inquired at that site if it’d be possible to also include a translated version (english), but since this is brand-new it may take some time.
Since the including information is pretty interesting to those people who are fascinated with Heteropoda maxima, i’d suggest to use a translation tool until the translated version may be available.
2. Dr. Jaeger has teamed up with the eco-tourism office Laos “Green Discoveries Laos” to offer a “Meet the Giants”-Tour package. Dr. Jaeger will with this package guide and lead interested persons through the jungles and caves of Laos.
Details (in english language) can be found under:

Take care,
Stefan
