Not much luck looking for much information on the internet about the distinguishable differences between these two any ideas?

The main difference is the telson it will be pale in H. spinifer that turns reddish upon maturity. H. silenus telson remain dark chocolate or brown throughout their whole entire life cycle. There are notable differences in the granulation of the pedipalps, the carapace, and metasoma (tail).

Outpost 31 is exactly correct and so you have an Asian forest scorpion and the other is describing an emperor scorpion I'm very similar in venom potency as well.

They are not referring to anything in the Genus Pandinus at all. The description is indeed accurate, and is between two separate species of the Genus Heterometrus...as is clearly written in the original post and in the reply...
