Anyone know the pectine teeth count for male/female speciments of heterometrus sp.?

I have one un-ID heterometrus sp. that has 17 teeth.

Photos can be taken too if needed for either sexing or IDing it, so just ask what is needed.
Thanks

The pectine teeth differ in species. I dont know exactly how much heterometrus on average has. But i know that androctonus can have around thirty. considering the big difference i would say a female. because a female has lesser pectinal teeth.

you don't always have to know pectinal tooth counts, another good character for sexing seems to be the angle the pectines form with the basal piece, 90 degrees =male a larger angle is generally a female.

Thanks everybody!
I'll check the pectine angle and the shape of the genital opening then.
