het for albino ball python

i'm really liking the albino ball pythons and i wouldn't mind having one, but way way tooo expensive for my taste. So i was thinking of my getting a pair of well outbred guaranteed 100% hets for albino (signed photo documentation) and trying to breed them to get my own line. I wanna know if people think this is a good idea to get me my albino? Also how many albino's could i possibly come up with? also is there any way buddy could be fibbing even about them being hets even with the documentation? i'm just new with the whole het thing and would like to know before i go in over my head. Thanks

There are 3 sites you can look at that will give you alot of info about your question.

ralphdavisreptiles.com which will give you quite a bit of info on your question
and of course ballpython.com which is Dan and Colette Sutherlands site.Most of the breeders will be happy to answer questions through e-mail and these are two of the best that I know of.

I would also check out of the board of inquiry on www.faunaclassifieds.com when you start selecting a person to buy from.

The best thing is to make sure that you're buying from a reputable dealer.

50% of the the offspring would be Albino, the rest 50% Het for albino.

(or rather there is a 50% chance that any given egg will hatch out albino)

As long as you are getting guarenteed 100% het balls from reputable source then go for it.

i would call LLLreptile they know of a well known breeder of both the balls u are asking about..ask for a guy named skillet...the breeder is located in plamdale or lancaster or something...but let the guys there know what u are looking to get..that should help
