Well, I broke down and did it.
My wife thought the little guy was sooo cute so i spent too much money
but , now she has a nice little leopard tortoise. He is a cute little guy, but way more trouble than a Tarantula lol

And when we stopped by petco to get heaters and the like for him, i went to see what they had for Ts and there was a rosie climbing the walls with his hooks showing looking for girls lol
But a guy there asked if i liked snakes and of course i do. Anyway he had a ball python girl he needed to get rid of and asked if i would take it. So I got her, and her tank for nothing more than a drive around the corner lol
not bad.
She is much easier to keep than that tortoise lol

congrats on the new additions! I acquired my first king snake that way, some guy at petco didn't want her anymore...

Drach, it's all a matter of being at the right place at the right time. And you were. Nice acquisition. Yeah, I got a 6 foot Redtail with enclosure from a manager at a pet shop awhile back. Freebies are always cool
