I recently bought 3 hermit crabs, and have them in the following enclosure. a 50 fallon tank, it has a pool in it, about 1 1/2 gallons, that they can get in and out of for freshwater, a smaller, 1/2 gallon dish for saltwater, 80% eco-earth, 20% playsand, a huge half-log i bought from petco, lots of shells for molting, temps are at about 72', a food dish, and a large piece of driftwood (treated to get rid of parasites). one of them has molted already, and they ahven't even been in there for 2 hours, lol.

So, does this sound suffecient for them?

Me too as I keep them. If you need any further help I'd suggest HCA. I'm a member and I go by Hermy88 on there.

I ♥ Hermies! :D

sounds like a great setup and a really big one too. You can definitely add more hermit crabs if you really wanted to

I dont think you need a pool just a shallow water dish would be fine.
How many do you have ?
Every thing else seems fine.
