I'm very happy with this adult female Tapinauchenius gigas I got today. I'm also happy I figured out how to get clearer shots from my not-so-pro camera.
Enjoy.

and some of these...

and a little of this...

and maybe a...

and how 'bout a ...

I'm doing it! I'm doing it! (actually this one's a little fuzzy. lol)

and last but not least...

So still a little fuzzy here and there, and at least one had glass glare, but I finally feel like they're pics clear enough to post.
Hope you liked her.
Thanks for a great spider, Beetleman!

She's stunning! We have an immature male, and he is awesome. Tapinauchenius is my second favourite genus.

I really like that last picture!

Thanks! It's nice to finally get some shots up. I need to take some of the others now.

I agree, she a stunner. I also have an immature male, and he might be the quickest T I have. And he can be real mean to, he throws up threat displays worthy of an OBT.

Wow, your male and my male need to get together - they sound like the same spider. I thought that our H. mac was fast until we rehoused our T. gigas.

He's actually not too mean, he only threat displayed once, when he was in premolt and we were trying to feed him to see if he was in premolt or not. It was, however, the most committed threat display I've ever seen out of our Ts. All that was missing was the dripping venom.

They also grow insanely fast. We got our boy in September as a .5" sling and he's now prepenultimate (or even penultimate, but if he is, he'll be on the small side).

They're great.

Great job on the pics! I use an itty bitty camera too. It's nice to see people reaching the potential of the camera!
