Hercules/Rhinoceros Beetle information/want to buy

Hey all. I've become interested in obtaining a Hercules or Rhinoceros beetle (preference in that order). I live on LI, NY, and was wondering if anyone could recommend a dealer or website I could inquite on the purchase of these guys?

If you live in the US, you can only get hold of native US species, and even then there are sometimes problems with inter-state movements. "Exotics" or non-native beetles are banned unless you have the correct permit. You will not get a permit as a private indidual.

Actually you can get a couple of Dynastes sp. in the US without permits as they are native and often local. Occasionally they are posted for sale in the classifieds, so if you did a 'search' in the classifieds ads you would then find who sells them.
