My T. Blondi molted last night and everything went good except it looks like the carapace came off but the abdomen didn't, it looks like part of the abdomen didn't come off. It is still attached to his abdomen. What should I do, should I just sit back and let if fall off or should I gently pull it off with something. Thnx. Hurry guys. Thnx. Peace:(

Hi
What part of the abdomen is affected? Is it anywhere near the spinnerets or booklungs? Or is it merely a flap of skin still attached at the side or top of the abdomen?

In all honesty I'd be inclined to leave it - but you can attempt removal using tweezers and a damp cotton bud (i think you call them q-tips in America? :? )
Moisten the area and gently pull off the skin - but be careful :)

You may be ok to just wait a couple days to see if it falls off by itself. If it doesn't, try to moisten it directly and give it a few seconds to soften up. Then, very gently get a hold of ot with some long tweezers, forceps or whatever you use and very very carefully lift. If it seems like it doesn't want to come off that way, you may just be best to leave it. Eventually, it will either fall off over a longer period of time or it will be gone by the next molt.
Good luck.

Just to update, the flap of skin was covering the abdomen and the spinnerets. but has since fallen off. I believe that it is all, but it looks like there is still some skin left under the abdomen, where the book lungs are. I cannot be positive because I can't get a good view from my angle and the T has his legs up above him so I cannot see. If this is the case what to do abou that. Would it be ok to leave the skin on him or should I remove it. Thnx. Peace

Try.....

I would leave it alone. You said the other pieces came off, so it is likely that this last piece will as well. I think, trying to pull it off, would be very risky, and could harm the T, very badly. Just leave it alone, and maybe keep the humidity slightly elevated, to make it easier for the T to pull the skin off, if it chooses to. But just keep the humidity slightly elevated for 2 days or so. But only if you are really worried about it. I think it will be fine, but keep us updated, okay?:)
