i just caught a giant house spider 2 days ago not expecting it to molt, so with it just finishing molting there is still one leg stuck in the old skin. so any ideas
depends on the amount of leg. and spider size and species.
if its a larger specimen you could
1) warm soap and water/quicktips try to ease the moult off.
2) wait for the spider to throw the leg (if possible)
3) help the spider throw the if it hinders it eating
4) let the spider be and nature run its coarse. spiders can usualy take care of themselves.
Spiders are amazing in their ability to adapt cope and survive. Molting is a dangerous process. the spider can't afford to not be able to survive it I glad to hear that she was able to correct it.
