Hay Rob,
Your pictures aren't very clear and it makes it hard to ID.But if you go to
this website you have a side by side picture of both.Since you have the T's
in front of you it probably be easier to ID yourself. If you have any problems
call me.Remember the A.Jundi will be much more aggressive than the A.Sp.
Mozambik.The A.Sp Mozambik is a fairly nonaggressive baboon.In europe
people handle them like Avic's or Brachy's.But I don't.

I love that genus. They're not too common in Canada, but I've been really wanting one for a while now.

Sorry Rob, A. junodi is not aggressive at all.
This is true- You can pinch-grip a female right out of her burrow in some cases.

how do you differentiate between the two?
A. junodi, in my opinion, has more orange markings than other Augacephalus species. See http://www.baboonspiders.de/html_en/genera_augacephalus.html

And for something non-scientific: I think it's likely to NOT be A. junodi just based on export laws from RSA. It's much easier for hobbyists to get their hands on other Augacephalus species from Mozambique.

Here's a pic of a real A. junodi female and male:

yes, very true. as you can see in my picture in the link above, the A. sp. "mozambique" is more grey and also smaller then A. junodi.
