Help with caterpillar ID?

I found this Sphinx Moth caterpillar in the road. I don't think I've seen this species around here. I looked at a lot of Sphinx caterpillar pics but I still don't know what species it is, anybody know? I'm wondering what kind of plant it eats.

Looks like a brown form of the tomato hornworm, Manduca quinquemaculata.
