How did your tarantula's legs get crushed? What size is it? 1"? 3cm? Smaller? Larger? Pictures might be helpful.

No worries at all. They'll grow back. Within the next molt or two.
But yeah, how did it happen?

Yah, no worries. In these cases tarantulas some times "self-amputate" (a process called "autotomy") which is made possible by a "built-in" weakness in the inner leg joints which involves a "valve" that prevents bleeding out.

It'll take them off if it needs to. As long as the carapace and abdomen is fine it'll regenerate them in a few molts.

Good luck.

It will be fine. I got my G. porteri as a rescue, with its two front legs crushed in a shipping container. She took them off and regrew them over two molts, and has been happy and healthy for the last 8 years

Yes it will be fine, the legs will regenerate in a molt or two, try to be more careful in future, I realise it was an accident. Try keeping the enclosure in an area, where if it does topple over, it will only be lying on it's side. I hope the spider is managing to get about and is able to feed properly, good luck.

When I first got my Strimis, I unboxed the female and a leg had came off, within two molts a new one had replaced it.
